Highlands Park Senior & Community Center is located in the heart of the San Lorenzo Valley connecting midway between Felton and Boulder Creek. Conveniently located on Highway 9, the center is nestled on a 26-acre Santa Cruz County Park bordered by towering redwoods, manicured athletic fields, and a gently-winding riparian habitat trail to the river. The facility also serves as a critical evacuation, emergency response, and recovery access point for the San Lorenzo Valley.
The center has served as a hub for San Lorenzo Valley residents for more than 40 years. Dedicated by the Senior Citizens Organization of San Lorenzo Valley in 1978, the 6,000-square-foot facility welcomes all ages to participate in educational and recreational opportunities. Offering a full kitchen, auditorium, multi-use rooms and restrooms, the center and its programming provide vital connections and accommodations for valley residents to access services and community.
