When we launched the Nourish Up Hunger Hub capital campaign, we shared that the last magic ingredient is YOU. Because of your generosity, the final and most perfect ingredient of the Hunger Hub is now complete, the Nourish Up Meals on Wheels Kitchen.
Please join us as we celebrate this exciting milestone and the completion of a vision that will help us prepare fresher, even tastier meals for neighbors in Mecklenburg County who are unable, because of age or infirmity, to obtain or prepare meals for themselves.
Meals on Wheels is about more than nutrition. It is also about care, dignity, and human connection. This new kitchen will strengthen our ability to provide balanced meals made with fresh ingredients and delivered with compassion.
