Sympto-Thermal Method

Registration is closed

Only 2 tickets left!

About This Event

The Sympto-Thermal methods focus on observing the resting body temperature using a basal thermometer and observation of cervical mucus. These observable signs respond to the hormones of the menstrual cycle, helping women to understand when they are fertile and infertile. Natural Family Planning has shown to increase communication, trust, and prayer life of couples. It is important for both man and woman to actively participate in the course.

The course will consist of meeting 4 times throughout the 3 months; 3 two-hour classes, each two weeks apart, plus a one month follow up AFTER the last class. The cost of the course will include your book, thermometer, resources, charts, as well as continued access to the instructors for any follow up questions. Please allow 3 months prior to your wedding to complete the course. A certificate of completion will be given at the end of the course. Ashley Brumfield will serve as the instructor for this class. She is currently in practicum through Northwest Family Services(Sympto-Pro).

All registrations are non-refundable. Once you submit your registration, an email confirmation letter will be emailed as ell as your receipt. If you have any questions or have not received your receipt within 2 business days, please call the Office of Marriage and Family Life at 337-261-5607 or email Brittanie Simon, NFP coordinator, at bsimon@diolaf.org.

**While this teacher is in the training phase, clients may receive a refund of up to $75 after submitting 6 months of charts to help the instructor complete her certification.**

More classes coming - contact bsimon@diolaf.org to be placed on the waiting list.
