About This Event
WELCOME!
We’re so glad you’re interested in becoming a volunteer with Erin’s Hope for Friends. Your time, encouragement, and willingness to connect can make a life-changing difference. By joining our members in activities, starting conversations, and helping everyone feel included, you play an important role in building friendships that extend beyond the club. Sometimes, the smallest gestures make the biggest impact. Thank you for helping create a place where every member feels welcomed, valued, and excited to belong!
Volunteer shifts are as follow:
- Friday nights are our teens ages 13 to about 18 years old
Volunteers arrive at 6:45 sharp and depart 10:30pm
- Saturday nights are our adults ages 25+
Volunteers arrive 5:45pm and depart 9:30pm
- Sunday nights are our young adults ages 18 to 24 years old
Volunteers arrine at 4:45pm and depart 8:30pm
Pick any night that works for your schedule.
EXPECTATIONS
As a volunteer at e’s Club, your primary role is to help members connect with one another and build friendships. If you see a member sitting alone, offer gentle, direct encouragement to join another member. Most activities at e’s Club are designed for two or more people, creating natural opportunities for connection.
Invite a member to join someone for a board game, encourage two artists to share materials, or help a member think of conversation starters based on their interests. Small moments of encouragement can make a big difference!
You’ll also support the staff with the evening’s themed activities and special programs. For example, you may help organize Improv Night, assist with kitchen cleanup while birthday cupcakes are served, or help with other tasks that keep the evening running smoothly. Each weekend has a different theme and unique needs.
As the event winds down, volunteers help reset the space and prepare for the next event. The staff and Event Leader will delegate tasks to ensure responsibilities are shared.
What to wear: Please dress comfortably and appropriately for a family-friendly environment. Clothing should be modest and suitable for an all-ages setting.
CAPACITY
We limit volunteer numbers to ensure that ratio is met nor overserved. Your volunteer spot is reserved by purchasing a "Ticket" for $0. Once tickets are gone, that means we reached capacity for the night. Praises!!!!!
