The National Adrenal Diseases Foundation (NADF) is running a campaign to support the My AI Registry research project.  This project will study adrenal insufficiency (AI), with the goals of understanding the disease better, improving treatments and looking for ways to predict or prevent it. Right now, we lack good data on how common the disease is here in the US. We do not have information on how well patients are doing under the current treatment recommendations and we do not know how well our healthcare system treats patients. There are so many questions that still need to be answered to provide a better quality of life for those with AI. Being patient-focused, we are working with the community towards updated treatment guidelines, creating new medications, and the ultimate goal of prevention or reversal of the disease.

This project has been funded since 2021 with over $190,000 committed to date from NADF. These funds were made possible through the generous support of our community and NADF's ongoing commitment to advancing adrenal research.
