Life & Work of Deacons - Racial Reconciliation

About This Event

The Association for Episcopal Deacons invites you to our

Life & Work of Deacons Conference

OPEN TO ALL DEACONS, DEACON SUPPORTERS, DEACON DISCERNERS!

Anyone interested in exploring the Life & Work of Deacons in The Episcopal Church or the Anglican Church of Canada.

June 9/10   (Friday 7:00-9:00 pm Eastern & Saturday 12:00 - 3:00 pm Eastern)

Online via Zoom

Registration is $15. Members can use promo code MEMBER to register for free.

At this gathering we'll join together in fellowship, support, and learning. We will spend time reviewing what we each can and must do to address racial reconciliation in these fractured times. We will then consider different ways deacons can bring their prophetic voice and deep sense of justice to our work as deacons. The facilitator of this event will be Deacon Maureen Hagen, who brings a wealth of experience and passion for this important topic.
