June is a time to celebrate, uplift, and stand in solidarity with LGBTQ+ members of our community. At NAIGC, these values are not just symbolic; they are part of what makes our organization so meaningful. We pride ourselves on being a space where gymnasts of all identities, backgrounds, and experiences can show up fully and belong.
We invite our community to come together in support of that commitment through the NAIGC Rainbow Scholarship.
The Rainbow Scholarship is a $2,000 annual award given to an undergraduate gymnast who identifies as LGBTQ+, helping them continue participating in gymnastics through NAIGC club programs. For many athletes, club gymnastics is more than a sport. It’s a lifeline to community, identity, and joy.
Even in inclusive spaces, barriers still exist. Financial constraints, lack of support, and limited access can make it harder for LGBTQ+ athletes to stay engaged. This scholarship is one way we can collectively invest in making NAIGC a place where everyone can continue their gymnastics journey.
