About This Event
The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey 50th ANNUAL STATE convention will be held on October 21-25, 2026. This year’s theme is: Celebrating 50 years of progress and possibilities!
All activities take place at the Tropicana Atlantic City Hotel, located at 2831 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ 08401. Call 609-340-4000 and mention that you are with the NFB of New Jersey to reserve rooms at the reduced convention rates (an average of $101 per night if attending Wednesday-Sunday).
This preregistration form must be submitted by or before 5 PM on October 7, 2026. All convention attendees who are pre-registered will benefit from a lower registration fee and an opportunity to purchase food at greatly reduced prices. NO food options can be purchased after pre-registration closes
This form allows for multiple package selections in one transaction! You are able to register multple people and select all meals in one transaction. For example, you may complete this form for 2 adults, a child, and a support staff person in one transaction. It is essential that all individuals adhere to the policies and agreements outlined in this form. General ticket holders will agree on behalf of all individuals (children and support staff) included on this form.
This form requires additional fields to ensure a seamless ticketing process. Please note the page layout below:
- Page 1 – event details with a “register now” link at the bottom to get started
- Page 2 – package selection. General packages are for adults and youth over age 16; child packages are for youth under age 16; support staff packages are for SSPs, aids, PCAs, or interpreters; already registered/additional packages are for members returning to select additional packages to be added to their registration.
- Page 3 – purchaser contact information to be linked with payment option on the final page. This information is for our platform billing purposes. Thus, you will need to re-enter primary contact information on the next page to align with NFBNJ registration needs.
- Page 4 – Requested information for registrants. Headings separate each package holder’s required fields. For lunch, banquet, and federation family meals, guests will be required to select their meal option. Each meal selection package also has an optional field for names. If you are registering more than one person, you are required to place your name in these fields to ensure that meal choices and tickets connect with the right person. To review your payment totals prior to checkout, navigate to the “Your Summary” heading located at the bottom of the page beneath the “next” button.
- Page 5 – Payment options to include credit/debit card, ApplePay (if done on iPhone), Paypal, and bank payment. You may also select the invoice button to receive a receipt to attach with a physical check in the mail.

In addition to registration and food, NFBNJ is also offering bus transportation and Kids Camp. Details for each offering are below:
Roundtrip bus transportation is available from Rahway, NJ (Union County) and Toms River, NJ (Ocean County) on Thursday morning, October 22, 2026. The return bus will depart on Sunday, October 25 at 12 noon. Each roundtrip ticket will cost $20 with one kid per adult riding free. Personal Care Attendants/Interpreters must pay $25 for bus transportation (while registration for them will remain free). Priority will go to affiliate members.
Kids Camp will be available for youth ages 2 – 10, and experienced childcare providers will ensure that each child enjoys engaging activities. Sessions will be offered Friday, October 23, during general session and Saturday, October 24, during general session and the banquet. Parents will be able to select their preferred shifts for separate fees. Each child must bring their own food and drinks. Parents and/or guardians are also responsible for providing any necessary personal items such as diapers, wipes, or comfort items. NFBNJ will not administer any medications during Convention Camp; it is the responsibility of the parent and/or guardian to do so. If a child requires a diaper change during a session, the parent and/or guardian will be notified and must return to handle the change. Please note that this offer will only be provided if we receive registration for five or more kids.

The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey (NFBNJ) reserves the right to cancel any registration that is not completed and paid in full by October 7, 2026. Payments made by check or money order must be received by NFBNJ no later than October 7, 2026; please allow ample time for mailing to ensure your payment arrives on time, as late payments will not be accepted or processed. Beginning October 3, 2026, all new registrations must be paid using PayPal, debit card, or credit card; no new check or money order payments will be accepted after this date.
Additionally, NFBNJ reserves the right to cancel any pre-registration submitted by current or former members who are not in good standing with the organization. Registration is considered a privilege and may be revoked at NFBNJ’s discretion to maintain fairness and uphold the integrity of the organization.
