ABOUT THE EVENT: 

In collaboration with Nash Film Club, we present an evening of networking and moderated discussion, featuring the following panelists:

Luanne Dietz - A three-time Emmy Award winner, Cannes Lion and Edward R. Murrow Award recipient, Luanne is an award-winning storytelling executive with 15 years of experience developing and producing premium film, experiential, and custom content for globally-renowned brands, networks, corporations and foundations. She has been a force in the creative industry as a female director, editor, teacher, entrepreneur and big idea creative. 

Bob Raines - Executive Director of the Tennessee Entertainment Commission (TEC). He was appointed by the Governor in 2012 to lead all economic development and job creation initiatives within TN’s entertainment sector. In 2021, he led efforts between the Governor’s Office and State legislators to craft the State’s first tax credit and sales tax exemption program to attract production activities - now successfully signed into law. 

Kelsey Cooke - a producer, writer, director, and actor who with her husband Chris, co-founded thisishardtoread productions, and produced two locally-made features: RE-OPENING – funded entirely through crowdfunding and Connection Pending –  secured private funding independently for the project hoping to apply for the TN tax credit until the minimum spend requirement increased. 

Trey McClarnon - a writer, producer, and filmmaker through his company Best Part Productions. He also serves on the Nashville Entertainment Commission and on the Board for the Arts and Business Council of Nashville where he advised on their fiscal sponsorship agreement.
