About This Event
NHTOA is providing the State of New Hampshire with Team Safe Trucking’s Entry Level Driver Theory
Training Program. After February 2022, drivers looking to sit for their CDL license in New
Hampshire can take through NHTOA’s subscription. These individuals will need to complete all the
below Entry Level Driver Theory training courses to meet the new FMCSA Entry Level Driver Training
regulation and to take their CDL exam. This training can be beneficial to existing drivers who may
have not attended a formal CDL training program. It is recommended that those drivers could benefit
from having gone through this training program. Businesses who currently train their own drivers
before they sit for their CDL exam can continue to provide new driver training with the help of
Team Safe Trucking’s Entry Level Driver Theory training program in New Hampshire. The businesses
can have their drivers take the Team Safe Trucking ELDT online courses and then the businesses can
continue to provide the behind the wheel training. However, these forestry transportation
businesses will need to list their company’s name on the FMCSA training provider registry and
document the behind the wheel training that was provided and be sure that it meets the requirements
in the ELDT Regulation for Behind the Wheel Driver Training. After individuals complete the Team
Safe Trucking ELDT training program a report will be sent to FMCSA that they have completed the
training requirement. The driver will also receive a certificate of ELDT Training Program
completion from Team Safe Trucking. The FMCSA will release the information that the individual has
completed the training to the appropriate state’s DMV, so when you go to sit for your exam you will
be permitted.
TST ELDT training courses are the most convenient and user‐friendly truck driver safety training
courses available. They focus specifically on transportation of forest products. Trainees can
access TST training courses at any time using a smart device or computer with internet access. A
detailed record of completed courses, the training material used for training, the date and time
the training was completed, and a training certificate is available for each course completed
through the online training management platform. This information can be made available to business
owners, insurance companies and logger associations. The convenience of “on‐demand” driver safety
training will save time and money, allowing more time for productivity while complying with
governmental and insurance carrier mandates. This unique training platform is designed with input
from forest products truck drivers, owners, and other experts across the nation.
This is an online class, open all year long to NHTOA members.
