inspiring true stories from our new neighbors whose journeys of displacement led them to Nashville
awards honoring those who have had the biggest impact on the lives of New Americans in Middle Tennessee
We hope we'll get the chance to thank you in person for your support of NICE, and share a toast to the opportunities you'll create for our New American community!

A refugee family arrives at the airport in Nashville. They will be met by their NICE Case Manager, who will guide them through Day 1 of the U.S. chapter of their journey.
Our NICE staff works hard to provide culturally competent, trauma-informed, and empathy-driven services. Our staff speaks 41+ languages and identifies with 25+ nationalities! Here are a few team members modeling their NICE tees.
Each holiday season, our staff & volunteers have delivered gifts to bring smiles to newly arrived families. Here is our staff member Byamungu, who is from Congo and has been working at NICE since his 2nd day in the U.S. in 2014. Byamungu is trained in peace building and trauma healing, and is an involved member of the community in Nashville.
