Presented by NJTL of Trenton

30th Annual NJTL of Trenton Gala

Registration ends Thursday, 09/12/2024 11:59pm EDT

About This Event

Join NJTL of Trenton to celebrate its 30th Annual Gala on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 11am to 5pm at the Mercer County Tennis Center. This exciting event will feature a tennis exhibition, auction, buffet, open bar, dessert and music!

NJTL of Trenton creates opportunities for success by enriching the lives of under-resourced youth through innovative tennis, education, mentoring programs and college and technical school scholarships.

Long-time supporters, Sheryl & Joseph Punia, will be honored at the event for their dedication to making a difference in the lives of under-resouced communities in the Mercer County area.  Both Sheryl and Joe learned from their parents the importance of being active members of the community, as well as supporters of non-profit organizations that strive to make life better for those in need. In addition to NJTL, the Punia family have been long time supporters of SERV, Greenwood House, Princeton Medical Center, The Hun School of Princeton, Princeton Day School and other charities. These values are proudly carried on by their children, Elyse, Andrew, Charlie and Travis.

This year's special guests include Kim Clijsters and the Princeton Women and Men's tennis teams. Kim Clijsters is a former WTA World #1 Singles and Doubles Player and a 4-time Grand Slam Champion. We are thrilled to have the esteemed Princeton players join Kim on court for an entertaining and exciting exhibition. The NJTL student athletes and graduates will also be joining in on the on-court fun!

Proceeds from this signature event directly benefit our Trenton-area kids.  With this support, we continue to create opportunities for success through our programming, designed to prepare student-athletes for college admission and career placement.

Long standing supporters Albert Stark and Ginny Mason will serve as Honorary Co-Chairs. Julia Benedict is serving as Event Chairperson. The success of this event keeps NJTLT moving forward.
