About Nā Keiki O Emalia Grief Support Groups

Important documentsplease review before proceeding:

WELCOME

We’re grateful that you’ve chosen Nā Keiki O Emalia to support your child(ren) and family during this difficult time.

HOW OUR PEER-TO-PEER SUPPORT GROUPS WORK:

  • Guided by trained facilitators in a safe, supportive space
  • Not counseling or therapy
  • Sharing is voluntary
  • Always free-of-charge

Children and teens are guided through playful, grief-informed activities and conversations about healthy grieving while connecting with others who share similar experiences. These groups remind youth they are not alone and give them opportunities to laugh, play and heal together.

Before proceeding, please review the two forms linked above. They contain important information about the program and your privacy rights that you will be required to affirm reading. You can also access them here: www.discoverimua.com/na-keiki-services/.

Within the registration are optional GRANT FUNDING SURVEY QUESTIONS. All answers are confidential and for program use only, and are requested as part of the reporting process for the program's grant funders. Participation is voluntary; however, your responses help us assess the reach and effectiveness of our services, ensuring that all grieving youth in Maui County have access to the care they need. We truly appreciate any information you are comfortable providing. Mahalo!
