Join us for a festive Winter Photo Session fundraiser held at the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center. Families, couples, friends and children can enjoy professional holiday photos surrounded by the beauty of the pine forest. The Biophilia Center is nestled along 55,000 acres of Nokuse Land Conservancy, part of the remaining 2% of the longleaf pine ecosystem. This habitat is one of the rarest, as it is only found in the southeastern portion of the U.S.
Guests reserve a 20 minute photo session time slot and choose 1 out of 3 setting options. All of the proceeds support the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center and it's mission. During each session, a professional photographer captures a variety of posed and candid images against the natural forest backdrop. Guests will receive all digital copies of thier photos. Photos can be used for holiday cards, gifts, social media, or keepsakes. The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center reserves the right to use your photos for media publication.
This event combines holiday memories, outdoor recreation, community involvement, and nonprofit fundraising into a family-friendly event! The Biophilia Center is home to dozens of native mammal, reptile and bird Ambassador Animals, providing visitors the opportunity to learn about the natural environment.
Open to all ages and mobility levels, no pets other than service animals permitted. No outfit changes. There will be no activities, chats, or refreshments at the center Monday through Thursday. Friday is a public day, and purchase of a photo session does not include admission to the center. If you would like to stay before or after your session, you are welcome to check in at the front desk to explore the activities that day.
If you are unable to attend, we gratefully accept your booking as a donation. There will be no refund if cancelled within 48 hours of the event.
