Fundraising Summit

Save the date for one, two, or all three days of exceptional, practical fundraising training provided by Janet Cobb from Nonprofit Plus. Janet is deeply skilled at helping nonprofits get to the heart of what matters for their fundraising success and sustainability. Come prepared to learn and put what you learn into practice. You will walk away with tools you can implement immediately to meet your goals.

Cost:

  • $20 per day
  • $100 per day for organizations outside the Initiative Foundation's 14-county region

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. each day, and the sessions run 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A light breakfast and lunch will be served.

Janet has worked in the nonprofit arena her entire career, holding a wide variety of positions, including Communications Manager, Director of Development, and Executive Director, and has handled budgets from under $50K to over $8m. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive and Certified Nonprofit Professional.

Nicknamed “The Small Nonprofit Whisperer” by many colleagues, Janet has consulted with, coached, or trained over 700 early-stage, grassroots, and small nonprofits to help them build capacity and acquire the skills needed to support and expand their efforts.

The Initiative Foundation’s Nonprofit Academy trainings are part of the mission of the Foundation to serve the people of Central Minnesota. If your organization is located outside our 14 county and two Native nation service area, please contact Nicole Clements regarding options for participating.

 

Cancellation policy: Cancellations requested with more than 72 hours' notice before the start date will receive a refund of the registration fee minus any applicable credit card processing fees. Refunds will not be issued for no-shows or cancellations made within 72 hours of the event. The Initiative Foundation reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel at any time. In the unlikely event that we must cancel, a full refund will be issued. The Initiative Foundation will send a cancellation notification to the email address provided at the time of registration. Please be sure you enter your email address accurately and check your email regularly.
