ProduceGood exists to nourish our neighbors and it starts with food that's already grown, already ripe, and often already overlooked.
We're used to seeing perfection on grocery store shelves. But blemishes, odd sizing, and packaging changes don't change the nutrition or taste of fresh fruits and vegetables. Thanks to grocers and growers across San Diego County who donate their surplus instead of tossing it, we're able to recover thousands of pounds of high-quality produce every month.
ProduceGood ensures that food doesn't go to waste but instead goes back into our community to nourish our neighbors. In a region where 1 in 4 people are food-insecure, closing this gap matters more than ever. It only takes $10 to provide 38 servings of fresh, vitamin-rich produce to a family in need.
