Presented by National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in Texas

NSCDA-TX May Annual Meeting 2026

About This Event

Join fellow members of the NSCDA-TX on May 17-19, 2026 for the Annual Meeting! Texas Dame Claudia Chidester will share the work of her father, Paul Fontaine, who painted while he was deployed in Europe at the end of World War II. His work will be on view at the NCHM for the meeting. We'll enjoy cocktails Sunday evening with a view of the Austin skyline, hold our Annual Meeting at the historic Chateau Bellevue, and explore either the Governor's Mansion and Capitol grounds or the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Studio. You don't want to miss this!

The highlight of this special state meeting will be our celebration of America 250 on Monday evening, May 18th. This event will be open to the public and will give us as Dames the opportunity to share our passion for our nation's history as well as the continued relevance of our patriotic ideals. We will honor Lieutenant General Marshall "Brad" Webb with a Patriotic Service award for his outstanding service to our nation's Air Force.

Registration for this special Night for Our Nation evening event is separate from meeting registration. Please visit nscdatx.org/nfon-1 to learn more and to become a sponsor.
