We had so much fun spending a laid-back afternoon in Central Park with y'all last year, so let's do it again, but with a new setting - Van Cortlandt Park, a jewel of the NYC parks system. We're planning to snag a semi-shady spot on the gentle slopes between Broadway and the Van Cortlandt Parade Ground, close to the Tortoise & Hare Statue (the location of our Sonnet 120 film in The Sonnet Project!). Find the statue, and then look for us on the grass just north or south of it. Come join us if: You've been missing the NYSX gang You want to visit a park (or borough) that might be new to you You want to learn more about the company, what we've got coming up, and how you might get involved You want to make some new friends You yearn for the competitive high that only lawn games can provide You want to pass on a favorite summer read and pick up a new one at our Book Swap Picnic Blanket What did you say about lawn games? We plan to have a few lawn games on hand for anyone who wants to get up and move - beach balls & frisbees for tossing around, a bocce set, and cornhole (a particular fave from last year!).  If you have another favorite lawn/park game we didn't mention, feel free to bring it with you!
