Join the Louisa County Historical Society on Saturday, September 20, 2025 for a behind-the-scenes look inside some of Louisa County's historic homes and structures!
This year's tour features six buildings that embody the architectural styles of growing Louisa from the 18th into the 20th centuries. This year's tour includes: Elk Creek Farm, Gilboa Christian Church, Thompson's Crossroads, Merry Oak, Sunny Side, and Providence Presbyterian Church.
Advance Tickets: $50
Day of Ticket: $60
Single Home Tickets are available for purchase day-of for $15 per house.
Facilities: Available at both Gilboa Christian and Providence Presbyterian Churches.
Parking: This is a driving tour. Parking is available at each location.
Lunch: Boxed lunches are available for pre-order and are prepared by the KS Club. Box lunches will feature a choice of turkey or veggie sandwich, chips, water, salad, and cookies.
PLEASE NOTE: This tour features buildings built long ago, while many have been upgraded over time, not all buildings are handicap accessible. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Properties may be visited in any order.
Children 17 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. These tours are not geared towards young visitors. Children 17 and under may be permitted on a limited basis. Please call the Museum to speak with the Director.
