Care for refugees living in Greece!
Refugees come to Greece hoping to find a future for themselves and their children. Instead, they are often forced to live in crowded conditions, with poor nutrition and sparse medical care, and receive little help from the government and most large aid agencies. Overwhelmed, they struggle to find a place to stay and a way to feed their family.
Sahar Kamrani Fard, a former refugee herself, founded One Heart with a mission to care for these refugees. One Heart serves refugees in Athens, focusing primarily on Persian-speaking people from Iran and Afghanistan. They seek to disciple and train new believers, find creative ways to help provide for their basic needs, and facilitate medical care for them.
