Oolite Arts on the Move at Little Haiti Cultural Complex

Registration ends Wednesday, 05/13/2026 11:59pm EDT

About This Event

Oolite Arts on the Move is a community-centered program by Oolite Arts that brings artist-led experiences into neighborhoods across Miami, expanding access to contemporary art through free, hands-on activities. In partnership with local organizations, the program creates opportunities for communities to engage directly with working artists in meaningful and accessible ways.

The series launches at the Little Haiti Cultural Center with a free, hands-on art class led by Oolite Arts alumni and Haitian artists Stephen Arboite and Mark Delmont in celebration of Haitian Heritage Month. This interactive experience invites families and community members of all ages to create their own artwork inspired by Haitian culture and artistic traditions. Teaching artists will guide participants step by step, sharing techniques, stories, and cultural context throughout the session.

This program is open to all ages. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed.

Join us from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for an engaging, family-friendly evening of art, culture, and community.
