About This Event
Join curious minds and nature enthusiasts as we gather for skill-building sessions this winter. We’ll keep our pencils and eyes sharp by bringing the beauty of nature indoors and focusing on basic skills and techniques for capturing your observations in a journal.
All participants will receive paper and supplies such as writing utensils, watercolors, and colored pencils. Participants are welcome to bring their own favorite notebooks and journaling tools!
Designed for Learners Aged 55+: This workshop is proudly presented by Overton Park Conservancy, supported by ARTSmemphis, the Tennessee Arts Commission, and First Horizon Foundation.

Overton Park Conservancy is the nonprofit organization that has been caring for Memphis’s central green space since 2012. With the generous support of our community, we work each day to make the park a beautiful and welcoming place for all Memphians, as well as a valuable source of urban habitat for wildlife.
The Conservancy must raise roughly 90% of our budget each year from people like you who care about the many things Overton Park has to offer. A gift of any amount helps us maintain and improve the park.
