This year's event will feature 2025 Miss Kentucky, Arianna Rodriguez!

Ariana Rodriguez, Miss Kentucky 2025, is a powerful advocate for children and families because her mission is deeply personal. Having experienced foster care and homelessness herself, Ariana understands firsthand the instability and uncertainty many young people face. Through her initiative, The Lucky Ones Foundation, she works to bring dignity, stability, and opportunity to youth in foster care—ensuring they are seen, supported, and equipped for a brighter future.

Her advocacy is rooted in the belief that every child deserves not just basic needs, but the chance to thrive. That same belief is at the heart of One Parent Scholar House, where we walk alongside single parents as they pursue education, stability, and long-term success for their families. Ariana’s story is a powerful reminder that when we invest in children and parents alike, we break cycles of hardship and create lasting change for generations to come.

One Parent Scholar House is a program for 80 single parents who are full-time students in a post-secondary educational institution. The primary purpose of the program is to help parents, and their young children develop the educational and family life skills needed to achieve self-sufficiency.

One Parent Scholar House is a comprehensive program which includes affordable housing, childcare, counseling, workshops, support from neighbors and staff, and special activities. These activities enhance health maintenance, parenting skills, management of family resources, nutritional knowledge, problem solving, work skills and job-search techniques.
