About Membership at The Arc NW

The Arc of Northwest Wayne County ("The Arc NW") is here to provide a lifetime of support and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the communities/schools of Northville, Plymouth, Canton, Livonia, Redford, and Garden City.  If you have received an I/DD diagnosis or suspect I/DD, the best place to start is at The Arc NW.

Membership at The Arc of Northwest Wayne County connects you to support and services that will ensure your person with disabilities has access to everything they need for a full, self-determined life.  It gives you a source for education on critical topics and future planning.  Your membership at The Arc NW will provide you access to our programs such as:

  • Early Development Programs, such as Lekotek Developmental Play, the Toy Lending Library, Tech Hub, Duane DiPonio Family Resource Center, and Advocacy.
  • Education and Growth, including personal advocacy to help your individual reach their educational goals, Lekotek, Tech Hub, and the Duane DiPonio Resource Center.
  • Life Management, when your individual becomes an adult and is ready to create and implement their plan for a self-determined life.  This includes personal advocacy and Financial Management Services, along with fun activities such as Athletics and the Just Fun Club.

You can choose which membership is right for you and your family.  If the cost is preventing you from joining, please contact us at 313-532-7915 to discuss how we can help.
