Embrace the holiday spirit at a community sing-along of selections from Handel’s renowned Messiah! while supporting PADS of Elgin at the third annual Elgin Sing-Along Messiah on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at 7 p.m. at the Blizzard Theatre at Elgin Community College, 1700 Spartan Drive, Building H, Elgin.

The Elgin Sing-Along Messiah makes you a participant in the audience choir, accompanied by the extraordinary talent of Elgin area musicians and vocalists, and will raise much needed funding for PADS of Elgin.

Elgin Sing-Along Messiah is an annual, interactive, community sing-along that raises awareness and funding for Elgin charities while showcasing the talent of Elgin-area musicians and vocalists, including the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the Midwest Opera Theatre. Members of the Elgin Master Chorale will serve as section leaders. At approximately one-hour in length, it is an event the entire family can enjoy, whether they prefer to join in singing or simply enjoy the performance.

Since its debut in 2022, the event has raised $9,000 for Elgin charities. Proceeds from the 2024 event and a free-will offering will benefit PADS of Elgin.

No musical experience is necessary. Tickets are just $5. Children 12 and younger are free.
