About This Event
Discover the wild plants that inhabit our landscape. Learn how to identify, sustainably harvest, and prepare these plants to weave them into meals and home remedies. Many are easy to recognize, safe to work with, and inhabit your favorite trails, backyards, and even more urban areas. Heather will share her tips and tricks from more than fifteen years of working with wild edible and medicinal plants. This walk will be easy-moderate in nature with many stops along the way to meet and discuss the plants. To document your experience, please bring a notebook/pen for note-taking.
