Spirits of Lacawac Ghost Tour (Wed Oct 21)

Registration ends Wednesday, 10/21/2026 4:00pm EDT

About This Event

Please note: the original date for this event has been changed from Friday Oct 23 to Wednesday Oct 21

Step into the shadows of Lacawac Sanctuary’s historic Great Camp this October. By lantern-light, explore the Carriage House, Ice House, Lodge Kitchen, the Great Lodge’s front porch, and the pine-lined shores of Lake Lacawac. Hear true accounts of the older woman with grey hair glimpsed in the Carriage House, the mysterious man in black and red pacing the lodge, the servant who fell on the kitchen stairs, and the echoes of the Lenape people who once walked these woods. Part history lesson, part spine-tingling experience, this evening tour blends authentic stories with the natural beauty of Lacawac at night.

Stay for s'mores and cider at the fire pit (weather permitting) and share a ghost story of your own!

Registration: Free; advance registration required.
Location: Lacawac Sanctuary Lodge

While many of our programs and hikes are offered free of charge, Lacawac Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization that relies on donations to make this programming possible. If you are able, please consider adding even a small donation when you register to help support our environmental education efforts.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy:

  • Lacawac reserves the right to reschedule, postpone, or cancel a program due to low registration (fewer than 10 attendees), weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. Participants will be notified by email as soon as possible if changes are necessary.
  • If Lacawac cancels a paid program, participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee. If Lacawac reschedules or postpones a paid program, tickets will automatically be honored for the new date. If a ticket holder cannot attend the rescheduled date, they may choose to donate their registration fee to support Lacawac’s nonprofit mission, or receive a credit toward a future Lacawac program.
  • As a nonprofit organization, Lacawac incurs credit card processing fees for both registrations and refunds, which reduces funds available for programs. Thank you for understanding and for supporting our mission.
  • No action is needed if you are able to attend on the new date. We encourage participants to check their email and Lacawac’s website and social media channels for updates, especially as weather conditions may impact programs.
