Celebrate “National Love a Tree Day” with a guided walk through the forests of Lacawac Sanctuary! Join Forest Specialist Trevor Tochydlowski for a morning hike focused on identifying common trees of our region. Learn how to recognize trees by their leaves, bark, and overall form while gaining a deeper appreciation for the role forests play in our local ecosystem. This free, guided hike takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM and is suitable for adults and interested teens.
