About This Event

Parenting the Second Time Around is the Grandparents as Parents program's annual conference. This year's theme is "The Resilient Caregiver: Strength Through Support." The goal of this conference is to provide grandparents, relative caregivers, and professionals with information and practical tools.

Plenty of free parking is available.

Free transportation from the CAC Ross Building (2247 Western Ave., Knoxville, TN 37921) is available. The bus will leave CAC promptly at 8:15am and depart from the conference promptly at 1:30pm.

Cost
Tickets are $15 and include a light breakfast and lunch. Scholarships are available for relative caregivers. If you are a grandparent or relative caregiver and wish to have your ticket fee paid for via scholarship, use the promo code "scholarship" at checkout or call Grandparents as Parents at 865-524-2786 to RSVP over the phone.

12:15pm - 1:00pm: Third Session - Putting on the Oxygen Mask First: How Caregivers Can Recognize and Regulate Their Emotions - and Help Youth Do the Same
1:00pm - 1:20pm: Thank You & Goodbyes
1:30pm - CAC Bus Departs from Rothchild's
