My Wellbeing Program

About the Program

This program is designed for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who want to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.

Participants will meet for six sessions, and each session is 60 minutes long. In the sessions, we will talk about different parts of wellbeing and practice skills that can help in everyday life.

We strongly encourage participants to attend all six sessions so they can get the most out of the program.

Session Topics

Getting to Know You
Meet the group and start building a community together.

Time for Me
Learn what wellbeing means and why it matters.

Social and Emotional Wellbeing
Learn ways to build strong and healthy relationships.

Financial Wellbeing
Learn basic ideas about money and how to use it wisely.

Physical Wellbeing
Talk about ways to stay healthy and have more energy.

Pulling It All Together
Practice how to make positive choices and use what you learned.

Instructors

This program is taught by two educators from Loudoun Extension Services.
