The Yard Presents: Comedy Unleashed

A comedy night benefiting Paws Humane Society! 🐾

Join us on August 22nd for a night of laughs, drinks, and community — all while supporting the animals at Paws Humane Society.

Our headliner, Mookie G, is a standup comic and educator based in Atlanta. He has opened for living legends like George Wallace and performed in the famous World Series of Comedy, Athens Comedy Festival, and comedy clubs and theaters all over the country. Mookie's hilarious social media posts have garnered him over 40,000 followers, with series such as "Questions with Comics" and "White People Sh!t."

Opening the show is Columbus native Lisa Rimmert, a stand-up comedian, award-winning author, and childfree dog lady. She performs all over the country, sharing stages with greats like Bobcat Goldthwait, TJ Miller, Zoltan Kaszas, and Steve Hofstetter. Lisa has also been selected for prestigious comedy festivals, including the Seattle International Comedy Competition and the Burbank Comedy Festival, at which she was named Best of the Fest in 2024. An outspoken animal advocate, Lisa proudly volunteers for Paws Humane.

• No outside food or drinks allowed
• Alcohol will be available through our Airstream Bar
• No dog necessary — humans are always welcome at the park!
• Dogs must be pre-registered and approved to enter the park. 
• Cashless establishment — no cash accepted
• Tickets available online or at the gate
