About This Event
Join us for a few hours of reconnecting with nature, guided by Kade Forth, LISW-S at our beautiful horse farm in Pataskala. If you are feeling disconnected from nature, others, or yourself this is the experience for you. Kade will lead participants through mindfulness experiences in nature using techniques that involve all of our human senses, followed by a creativity experience where found/natural materials from the environment are used to create a piece of art. The art will then continue helping us find connection as it is returned back to the environment. This playful workshop will help you connect more deeply with nature as our co-counselor and help us recognize that we, as humans, are also part of nature.
No art or horse experience necessary. All are welcome.
Please dress for the weather. We recommend comfortable shoes for walking on uneven ground in wooded areas. This event is rain or shine as we have indoor spaces available to us. We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle.
This workshop is located at a horse farm, but does not involve horse handling or horseback riding.
