Join us all season for a fabulous speaker series relating to the Five C's of Arizona sponsored by PCHM and the Viney Jones Library. All programs are no charge on the second Friday at 10:00 am (September, October, January, February, March, April, and May). Our March 8th presentation is titled "Notwithstanding the Fact That She is a Woman: A Comparative Study of Women's Labor and Mineral Pursuits in Arizona Mining Camps" by Stephanie Brown. 

This presentation considers the effects of large, corporate mining conglomerates at the turn of the last century on the work opportunities available for women outside of the home
