Go Gold Childhood Cancer Awareness Walk

The Foundation of Onvida Health, in partnership with the AdvoKATE Foundation, personally invites you and your loved ones to a special lighting ceremony. This event aims to raise awareness and show our support for pediatric cancer patients and their families during Childhood Cancer Month. We hope that you can join us as we gather to light the night.

Location: Onvida Health Cancer & Blood Disorders Center, Serenity Garden

Event Highlights

Go Gold Lighting: All participants will gather at the Cancer Center Garden, where we will simultaneously light our necklaces in honor of the children and families who have faced a pediatric cancer diagnosis. Following the illumination, we will embark on a meaningful walk around the hospital exterior, which will also be illuminated in gold.

Information & Resources: The Foundation of Onvida Health's Pediatric Oncology Committee will share some brief remarks and shed light on the ongoing efforts to support our local families. A booth with information and resources will also be at the event. 

Prayer & Moment of Silence: Our Spiritual Care Department will lead a moment of prayer and remembrance, honoring the journeys of our courageous patients and their families.
