About This Event
Join Us for Judea Garden Spring Planting Day!
Help kick off the growing season at Judea Garden Spring Planting Day on Saturday, May 9, from 1–4 PM! Volunteers of all ages are invited to dig in, get their hands dirty, and help plant fresh produce that will be donated to local families in need. No gardening experience is necessary.
Come be part of a rewarding community effort in a beautiful setting. Gloves and tools provided. Judea Garden is located at Macricostas Preserve in Washington, CT.
Judea Garden supports local families in need with fresh, healthy produce including tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers, and more. It has also become a vital community hub where volunteers unite to cultivate the land and make a difference. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, everyone is welcome!
Photography and Recording Note: Portions of Steep Rock Association’s (SRA) events may be photographed and recorded. Your registration indicates consent to have any images or footage featuring you at the event to be used for SRA-related materials and outreach. Should images or footage appear on SRA’s communication channels that you don't wish to be featured in, you must notify SRA in writing, and we will cease to further use your image or footage for any new materials going forward.
