As some of you know, I serve on the board of Leadership Mission International, a nonprofit developing young women as leaders in rural Honduras. From my time serving in the Peace Corps in Honduras, I saw firsthand the importance of investing in local leadership capacity. LMI is doing really amazing work developing leaders who reinvest in communities hit hardest by disinvestment and poverty.
