When I first became involved with Leadership Mission International, I was inspired by something simple but powerful:

Community development is about people, not projects.

Projects matter. Wells matter. Businesses matter. Scholarships matter.

But lasting change happens when people are equipped to lead, solve problems, and invest in their own communities.

That's why I am hosting this gathering.

I would love for you to join me to hear the stories of remarkable women from Honduras who are creating ripple effects of change in their families, businesses, and communities. Through Leadership Mission International, these women receive leadership training, education, and practical experience that prepares them to become ethical leaders and entrepreneurs.

Why This Matters

Honduras faces significant challenges, particularly for young women in rural communities. Yet every year, LMI graduates return home equipped with new skills, broader perspectives, and a commitment to serve.

Today, more than 200 graduates are leading change across Honduras. They are launching businesses, pursuing higher education, mentoring others, improving their communities, and creating opportunities that did not previously exist.

The most effective solutions do not come from outsiders bringing answers. They come from local leaders who understand their communities and are empowered to create change from within.
