PEOPLE’S THEATRE PROJECT presents
New Horizons Play Reading Festival
Experience the debut of three powerful new works by Christin Eve Cato, Max Garcia, and Montserrat Mendez, each developed through People's Theatre Project's 2024 Playwrights Unit. Under the mentorship of award-winning playwright Marco Antonio Rodriguez, these brand new plays will come to life in a showcase that explores and celebrates the diverse immigrant experiences in New York City.

A war-torn marine’s PTSD, manifested as a dangerously intelligent, dark-humored specter, forces her and her children to confront buried secrets and the deep scars of generational trauma stemming from her service in Guantanamo Bay.
