Married Couples Morning of Reflection - Redeemed Hearts

About This Event

Join us on February 20, 2027 for our Married Couples Morning of Reflection featuring Father Blake Dubroc, Pat and Courtney Pourciau and Josh and Kristi Fredieu.

We will join Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist for Mass at 8:00am. Check in will begin at 8:30am in the church hall next door. A light breakfast will be available. The event will start at 9:00am and conclude at 12:00pm. The cost is $45 a couple and registration is required.

Father Blake Dubroc, born in Lafayette and raised in Marksville, Louisiana, earned a BA in Political Science from Louisiana State University. After four years of work in Lafayette, he pursued seminary formation, earning a philosophy degree from St. Joseph Seminary College in 2014 and a Master of Divinity from Notre Dame Seminary in 2018.

Ordained a priest for the Diocese of Lafayette in June 2018, Father Dubroc is the Director of Vocations & Seminarians and serves at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Lafayette.

Pat and Courtney Pourciau have been married since 2002 and are the parents of two beautiful, dynamic daughters. Since 2016, the Pourciaus have been actively involved in marriage ministry. They currently serve as Marriage Preparation Coaches at their church parish in Breaux Bridge for civilly married couples seeking a convalidation, and as lay Annulment Advocates for the Diocese of Lafayette. They recently wrote Corda Redempta: A 33 Day Self-Guided Healing Retreat for Catholic Married Couples, which was released on the Feast of the Holy Family in the Jubilee Year of Hope: December 28, 2025.
Together, they founded Pious Practical Solutions, a Catholic organization dedicated to assisting local ministries with organization, coordination, and development. Through this work, they offer guidance, mentoring, and innovative resources rooted in faith-based, practical solutions. Visit www.pioussolutions.com for more information.

Josh and Kristi Fredieu have been married since 2007. They are not experts, theologians, or marriage gurus, just two imperfect humans figuring out love, life, and everything in between. Between raising two girls and working regular jobs, they give talks through The Light Project and host one of its podcasts, ‘Trailer Parked Theology’, making faith less intimidating and helping spiritually curious minds bring Scripture into everyday life. They’re grateful to walk this road alongside others, trusting God to do what only He can. For more information, visit www.wearethelightproject.org
