This in-depth photography workshop, led by Dr. Loren Merrill, is geared towards anyone interested in improving their bird photography skills. Over the course of the 4-hour workshop, Loren will cover a wide range of topics that should be valuable to novices and experienced photographers alike.
This introductory workshop emphasizes classroom learning; Loren will cover his conceptual approaches to bird photography as well as the technical elements necessary to capture impactful images. Loren will also go over some of his preferred camera settings for different scenarios, especially those he uses for capturing birds-in-flight shots under different environmental conditions. Towards the end of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to try out some of the techniques and settings covered during the workshop; the group will target bird activity at the feeders and elsewhere on the Bylane Farm grounds.
Saturday, September 26, 8:00am - 12:00pm. Cost: $200 per person. For more information, email: info@bedfordaudubon.org
