Welcome to the 6th annual Picklin’ for a Cure Awareness and Fundraising Pickleball Tournament at Udall Park from October 16-18, 2026.
We continue to support Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, also known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, through RSDSA. We also continue to support Lewy Body Dementia organizations both at the national and Tucson-level as well as the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Therapy Institute.
“Picklin’ for a Cure” 501c3 has donated over $160,000 to these charities as well as Tucson Area Pickleball, All in Youth Pickleball and Bhutan Cultural Exchange.

Tournament Details
FORMAT:
This is a NOT a USA Pickleball sanctioned event. This is a NON-Sanctioned ROUND ROBIN following the 2026 USA Pickleball Rules and Regulations. This skill/age tournament will play all events in a round robin format 1 game to 15 win by 2 switch ends at 8 with single elimination playoffs for events with more than 4 teams. Singles will be 1 game to 11 win by 2 switch ends at 6. The initial age brackets are 19-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and above. **Juniors 14 and up may play in 19+ events. Age brackets may be combined based on registrations. This skill/age tournament will play all events in a round robin format with playoffs and referees for all pre-medal matches and the Gold/Silver/Bronze Medal rounds. Event fee per event is $10 on top of the registration fee.
This tournament will NOT report your scores to DUPR.
Players may play in skill level events at, or 1.0 above, their current rating at the time of registration. Players may not play below their skill rating.
Friday, October 16th - Women's Doubles and Men's Singles
Saturday, October 17th - Mixed Doubles
Sunday, October 18th - Men's Doubles and Women's Singles
You have six (6) hours for your partner to sign up before being moved to the waitlist. Order on the waitlist is determined by the first player of the team's registration time. Therefore, entry of the team is not complete until BOTH team members create their online registrations & pay their fees. You will automatically be moved back into the event once your partner registers and pays, if there is still room in the event.
Check-in opens each day at 7:00am. Check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your event start time each day.
Event start times will be posted on this website the week of the tournament.
Tournament ball will be Selkirk PRO S1.
PADDLES: You are responsible for checking your paddle against the USA Pickleball Paddle list at https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/ If at any point during the tournament it is determined that a player is using a paddle that violates any paddle specifications or is not list on the USA Pickleball Paddle list as “PASS” the player risks match forfeit if found to be playing with an unapproved paddle during either an officiated or non-officiated match.
All fees and waivers must be submitted at the time of registration. There is a Pickleballtournament.com service charge of $5 per event, up to a maximum of $10, in addition to the Picklin' for a Cure registration and event fees. (Our registration fee has been reduced to account for this additional fee).
Tournament Director reserves the right to combine or split events, close events when courts are at capacity even if an event is not full, and change format based on enrollment.
