Pickleball Tourney

The Ataxia Open: Pickleball Tournament was created to honor my mom, Deanna Adams, who passed away from Ataxia in 2023, and to raise awareness and funding for this devastating disease. For generations, my family has been affected by Ataxia, and watching someone so strong taken by a disease with no cure was heartbreaking.

Inspired by local charity events, with the help of family and friends, the goal is to create a community-driven tournament that combines fun, competition, and purpose. The Ataxia Open is more than a tournament; it’s a way to honor loved ones, support research, and bring hope to families impacted by Ataxia. Our goal is to make this an annual event that continues to grow in impact and community.
