Cardiac Crusade: 2nd Annual Pickleball Palooza
Get ready to serve for a cause! Cardiac Crusade is thrilled to invite the North Texas community back to the courts for our 2nd Annual Pickleball Palooza. Following the success of our inaugural event, we are returning to Chicken N Pickle in Allen for another afternoon of high-energy sport, community connection, and vital fundraising.
The proceeds from this event directly support our mission to locate and register Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) across North Texas. By mapping these life-saving devices, we empower 911 dispatchers and bystanders to act quickly during a cardiac emergency, dramatically increasing survival rates from sudden cardiac arrest.
What to Expect
Whether you are a seasoned "pro" or picking up a paddle for the first time, there is something for everyone:

Pickleball Tournament: Every team is guaranteed a minimum of three games, with professional instructors available to teach beginners.

Taco Feast Buffet: Fuel your games with our popular taco buffet and massive chips bar.

Beyond the Courts: Enjoy a variety of lawn games including Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Ping Pong, and Battleship.

Stretch and Loosen Up: StretchLab Murphy will be offering free 15-minute demo stretches! Get a nice stretch before the pickleball event with one of their certified flexologists! Stretching will help improve your performance, increase your flexibility and prevent injury.

The "Chain of Survival": Join us for a powerful celebration of life as we honor the first responders and bystanders who make survival possible.
Why Your Support Matters
Sudden cardiac arrest has a national survival rate of less than 10%, but in communities where AEDs are accurately mapped, that rate can soar to 70%. Your participation helps us turn those statistics into reality right here in DFW.
Cardiac Crusade Achievements and Milestones:
- Mapped over 1,200 AEDs during a four-month campaign in Western, NY.
- Worked with Google to send 7.5 million emails to US businesses resulting in 4,000+ AED registrations.
- Cardiac Crusade volunteers have verified 10,000+ AEDs…and counting.
- Statistically, the 10,000 AEDs verified by Cardiac Crusade volunteers will save 16 lives EACH YEAR.
- Currently in Massachusetts, and soon in Lexington, KY to map AEDs.
