Join us September 19, 2026 for the highly anticipated 2026 Pickleball Tournament, hosted by Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity at the Kellogg Community College Pickleball Courts in Battle Creek, MI!

9:00am-4:00pm

Spectators can enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with camaraderie, laughter and the shared goal of repairing homes and hope for families in our community.

Tournament Information

3 levels: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced

48 Teams

*Habitat has the discretion to adjust brackets

 

Schedule:

8:30-9:00 Registration

9:00-Welcome

9:10am-round Robin Begins

15 minute break

Single Elimination

Format:

3 rounds of round robin

                   Play to 11, win by 2, cap at 15 points OR 20 minutes, whichever comes first

Single Elimination Bracket:

                     Play to 11 win by 2, no limitations

RULES:

  • 3 minutes warm up only allowed at the beginning of first match
  • Forfeits: Winner gets 11 points, Looser gets 0
  • To determine first serve:
    • Each Round the teams will play “Rock, Paper, Scissors” to determine who serves first.
    • The other team will pick which side they will play on.
  • When the winning team has 6 points, the losing team has the choice to change sides.
  • Serving
    • The server MUST announce the score BEFORE they begin to serve.
      • Order: Server’s Score/Opponent’s Score/Server #
    • While serving, Server MUST be behind the line AND within the sidelines
  • The Opponent to the Server must raise paddle immediately if they want to contest the servers score announcement
  • Kitchen Rules:
    • You may NOT be in the kitchen when you return with a volley
  • On a serve if the ball lands on the Kitchen line, it is OUT
  • If a ball lands on a line during the play, it is IN
  • After the serve, both the receiver and the server must let the ball bounce once on their side before they are allowed to hit the ball
  • Receiving team calls the line

Inclement Weather:  An email will be sent at 7:00am the morning of, if the event is canceled.  All registrations will be considered a donation unless a refund is requested via email to reception@habitatbc.org by September 26th.
