About This Event

Join us for an evening of fun, hands-on STEM demonstrations, drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and pie (of course!) at our Pi Day Party! Sponsored by the Roper Mountain Science Center Association, the Pi Day Party is an annual fundraising event in support of the region’s foremost Science Center focusing on STEM education for our children. The Roper Mountain Science Center Association, a 501c3, supports Roper Mountain through fundraising, advocacy, and volunteerism, including academic programs and special events.

The mission of Roper Mountain Science Center is to ignite the natural curiosity of all learners to explore and shape their world. We provide curriculum-based, hands-on, interactive experiences for elementary and middle school students. Special “edutainment” for individuals and families includes Starry Nights in the planetarium and observatory, Afternoon Explorations, and Summer Adventure. Each year, more than 50,000 students, 6,000 teachers and 30,000 families benefit from our exceptional programs.
