Texas Humane Heroes has teamed up with Bulqit for a community-wide puzzle challenge that brings people together while raising funds to help animals receive the second chances they deserve.

How Do I Know If I Got a Puzzle Piece?

You'll know it when you see it.

Puzzle pieces are showing up on front doorsteps throughout Crystal Falls, each one tucked inside a red velvet bag. Inside the bag, you'll find a puzzle piece along with instructions for bringing it back to Texas Humane Heroes.

If a red velvet bag landed on your doorstep, chances are your neighbors got one, too. Knock on a door, send a text, or post in your neighborhood group. A quick "Did you get a red velvet bag?" could be the reminder that brings another piece home.

Better yet, make the trip together. Every piece returned means another $100 for animals waiting for their second chance, and no piece should get left behind in a drawer.

Received a Puzzle Piece? Bring It Back!

If you received a puzzle piece, bring it to the front desk at Texas Humane Heroes by December 31.

For every puzzle piece returned, Bulqit will donate $100 to Texas Humane Heroes, up to a total of $50,000.

As the pieces make their way back to us, we'll put them together and watch the picture take shape.

Want to Help Assemble the Puzzle?

You don't have to receive a puzzle piece to be part of the fun!

We'll have opportunities for community members to help assemble the puzzle at Texas Humane Heroes. Whether you received a piece, helped your neighbor return theirs, or simply want to be part of the challenge, we'd love to have you help put the pieces together.

Watch for updates as the puzzle grows and opportunities to join us for assembly.

Didn't Receive a Puzzle Piece? You Can Still Help.

Not everyone will receive a piece, but everyone can help build a second chance.

You can make a donation to Texas Humane Heroes and help us reach the $50,000 contribution from Bulqit.

Your gift helps provide the food, shelter, medical care, vaccines, spay and neuter surgeries, enrichment, and everyday care animals need while they wait for their second chance. Your support also helps us keep affordable veterinary care available to families in our community.

Whether you receive a puzzle piece, help your neighbor return one, help assemble the puzzle, or make a gift, you are part of putting the pieces together.

Every Piece Matters.

A puzzle doesn't come together because of one piece. It takes all of them.

Second chances work the same way.

Every donor. Every volunteer. Every foster. Every adopter. Every person who shares our mission. Every person who chooses to help.

Together, we build something bigger than any one of us could build alone.

Help us build second chances, one piece at a time.
