IGNITE! Open Mic Night

Join us for an inspiring Open Mic Night, the grand finale of IGNITE! Writing Camp, where the magic of storytelling comes to life under the stars in The Porch’s backyard. This special evening is free and open to everyone, offering a platform for a wide array of stories, poems, and performances from a diverse group of voices.

While IGNITE! workshop participants have priority (see the list below and register at their respective links), we warmly invite writers of all levels and genres to sign up. Come for the stories; stay for the drinks, refreshments, and the warm camaraderie of fellow writers. Whether you’re stepping up to the mic or supporting from the audience, let's celebrate an evening of community and creativity together.

We invite readers from the IGNITE classes to sign up and read their work aloud to a supportive community! Please email hello@porchtn.org if you would like to be added to the reading list and please send a 50-word bio. You can also show up and sign up to read at the event!
