About This Event

The Poudre River Trailathlon is a FREE 3-hour family-friendly event celebrating Earth Day. The event encourages members of the community to actively participate in outdoor trail activities, such as a walking, running, hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, bird watching, art, exploring (scavenger hunt), and more. This free educational event also has prizes, booths, refreshments, and beanies for participants. Children will learn about trail etiquette and safety as well as build and paint birdhouses. The Poudre Learning Center will also offer many exhibits and educations programs. Sponsorships allow us to make this a free event and encourage higher participation. We hope to reach youth that would not normally have access to these types of healthy activities.

The Poudre River Trailathlon was rescheduled to Saturday, August 17, 2024 due to the weather in April. If you have any questions, please call, text, or email Barry Wilson, the Executive Director of the Poudre River Trail: 970-381-6250, director@poudretrail.org. Thank you.
