Olympic Medalist, NCAA Champion, and Tbilisi Champion Andy Rein, a Distinguished Member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, is dedicating his next big challenge to the "Power Beyond" endowment campaign.
This year, the 66-year-old, who believes his best 30 years are ahead of him, will thru-hike the entire Appalachian Trail. Andy will "power beyond" to walk roughly 5 million steps as he hikes through 14 states from Georgia to Maine. He estimates the 2,197-mile hike should take him five months to complete while he backpacks and camps trailside in a tent.
