About This Event

Celebrate Pride with the Ann Arbor YMCA!

The Ann Arbor YMCA invites members of the LGBTQ+ community, their families, friends and allies to our sixth annual Pride celebration on Friday, August 14 from 6:00–9:00 PM in our downtown gymnasium (400 W Washington Street).

This FREE, family-friendly event will feature:

  • Performances from Xanadu Shee, JahJah Shee, Miss Destiny, Donna YouKnowIt, and Sylvie the Clown
  • Dinner and refreshments
  • Drag Bingo, makeover station, photo ops, crafts, dancing and more!

We want to make sure we’re ready to celebrate with you! Registration for each individual attendee is required. Please register by Sunday, August 9. 

Please Note: for the safety of our gym floor, we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing stiletto heels.

PARKING: Due to the City of Ann Arbor’s High-Level Sewer Trunkline Capacity Improvements Project, W. Washington St is closed to traffic and street parking directly across from the Y is unavailable. Sidewalk access to the building remains open. Those with a YMCA parking card may still access our paid parking lot by following the signs on Liberty St. Attendees may use nearby street parking or public lots/structures, including but not limited to: First & Washington Parking Structure (accessible from First Street only, paid first come first serve parking) or the University of Michigan Lot W11 (Weekend public parking, first come first serve). Please allow extra time for parking and walking to the facility.
